Lawson's 818C

  • Shifter
    • I installed the aluminum K-Tuned shifter and the shift cables. The shifter looks awesome, but there’s still some work to do to make it feel great. I can currently get every gear though so I’m leave it as “good enough” for the moment.
    • I cycled through all the gears and they all work πŸ™‚
  • Exhaust
    • I got my exhaust from Boig Motorsports. It’s just their basic 2.5″ single exit with a muffler. I painted it silver with VHT exhaust paint so it won’t rust. It fit well and sounds pretty good.
    • I had to run the engine for about 40 min total to go through the paint curing process. No new leaks this time though! Everything engine-wise appears to be doing well right now.
  • Wheel Spacers
    • I installed longer lug studs and my 12mm wheel spacers in the rear to provide better clearance to the trailing arms. I used the ABS sensor hole in the mounting plate to get the longer lug studs through. Installing them really wasn’t too bad though.
